i loved how central this place is everything is super close. the staff was so ready to help with anything i needed. they provided information about how to get around the city and the best places to visit. breakfast was great too.

the room was a bit outdated i noticed a slight smell of dust. the mattresses weren't as comfortable as i hoped i could feel the springs a bit.

this place has an elevator which is so convenient for getting to upper floors after a long day. the rooftop bar is a great spot with a view and drinks are available from 8 pm. it is closed on some days but worth checking out.

the location is perfect everything is within 10-20 minutes walking distance to the main attractions. it's also super close to the metro station for easy access to the airport. i loved how convenient it was.

my room seemed dark constantly, i found no fridge. there was also no kettle or hot water to make tea. since it was december, this.

the hotel's location was central (a major plus). it allowed very easy access to the douro river and many main churches. trindade station was only a 5-minute walk, and i could access all metro lines from there.

the room i stayed in felt slightly older than expected.

The breakfast lacked variety. It was EXACTLY the same each day. I expected some local pastries since I was in Portugal but those were NEVER available. they divide breakfast into five time slots. That is between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, every 30 minutes. It seemed items were only refilled at the next time slot, so I had to wait for items to be restocked.

The location was good for walking to many attractions.

The room was not clean. I found paper between the bed and the wall. This was off-putting. There was humidity on the wall. I did not like that. The room felt too old and not renovated except for the bathroom.

Taxis are readily available at the airport and can get you to the hotel in about 20 minutes for approximately 25-30 EUR. Alternatively, you can take the metro from the airport, which takes around 25 minutes and costs 2.60 EUR. The metro station is conveniently located right across from the airport, and you can walk to the hotel from the central Trindade Station in about 10 minutes. Buses 601 and 602 offer another option, taking about 35-45 minutes to reach the nearby Cordoaria stop for just 1.80 EUR.
